Zahra Merchant is a current News Staff Writer and joined The Hawkeye team in 2023. At JP, she is involved in the acapella choir ensemble, FCCLA, INK, and Odyssey of the Mind. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the piano, crocheting, and reading.
