Akhila Mahidhara is a current Opinion Editor and joined The Hawkeye team in 2021 as an Opinion Staff Writer. Outside of Hawkeye, Akhila is a part of the Science Olympiad team, an active member of H.A.W.K.S., and a varsity cross country runner. In her free time, she enjoys reading science fiction, going on hikes, and solving crossword puzzles.
